After the render wars article I wrote, I realised I had to make a decision. Redshift was getting so much traction – it was bought by Maxon to be integrated into Cinema 4D so it seemed like a safe bet. I’d heard that the learning curve for Redshift is quite steep, but hey, why not start with a difficult one?
Bit of a short one today. I was interviewed for an article on the Wacom website! Poster Spy’s founder Jack Woodhams was tasked with creating a video series where he interviews artists from all around the world, that use Wacoms to create their artwork. I designed the logo for the series and the intro for all the interview videos.
Check out the interview here featuring yours truly!
It seems that nodes are where all renderers, including C4D R20 materials system, is headed. Nodes do seem to offer more control and therefore, will result in more detailed, realistic and customisable materials. I can’t wait to see what the community come up with.
